Please note that Bellwether House is our only unit with dedicated off-street parking. For all other guests, we offer the convenience of complimentary street parking located directly on Rosewood Avenue and on both sides of Bardstown Road. Whether you are popping out for a quick bite or settling in for the night, you’ll find ample space nearby to keep your vehicle close at hand.

Two-night reservations are required on most weekends, with a three-night minimum required for major holiday weekends and during peak season. This may cause our availability calendar to show “No Availability.” During the week (Sunday through Thursday nights), some rooms may not be available for a one-night stay.

At The Bellwether, we offer a variety of booking options designed to meet the different needs and flexibility requirements of our guests. Please be aware that the rate selected at the time of booking is directly tied to a specific cancellation policy, ranging from fully flexible to non-refundable options. Because these rates are set based on the level of flexibility provided, we are unable to make exceptions to the policy associated with your chosen rate. We kindly encourage you to review the terms of each rate carefully during the reservation process to ensure you select the option that best fits your travel plans.

Yes, free Wi-Fi is available in our public areas and guest rooms and you will receive information about logging in at check-in.

The Bellwether Hotel allows dogs only with the following restrictions: Dogs are only allowed in first floor rooms. We allow up to two dogs to stay as long as their combined weight is not over 50 pounds, or one dog not over 50 pounds. A $35 pet fee will be required at time of booking. Please notify us at time of booking if a dog will be staying. We provide some dog supplies prior to check-in. Supplies provided upon request and are subject to availability. Dogs are not allowed in the lounge area of the second floor, service dogs exempt from this rule. If you are bringing a Service Dog please notify us at the time of booking. Emotional support animals are not permitted. Dogs not allowed on furniture in the room. Pets must not be left unattended in room, or anywhere else on hotel property unless crated. Owners are financially responsible for any damage deemed by staff to have been caused by a pet. Dogs must be picked up after inside and outside of hotel by guests. Guests will be charged an additional cleaning fee for any extra cleaning incurred by guest not picking up after pet. Ample green space is located in our neighborhood for walking and pet relief. Guests will be charged a $200 cleaning fee if evidence of any type of pet is found in a second floor room, Highland Station, or The Bellwether House. Service Dogs are allowed. Your service dog must be under your control at all times, whether this is by the means of a leash, hand gestures or voice control, your dog cannot become unruly. Service dogs are not allowed to be left unattended in guest rooms, or any other hotel space. In addition, if your service dog were to damage anything in the hotel room, you are still liable for the cost of those damages. Service Dogs must be picked up after inside and outside at hotel property.

The Bellwether Hotel welcomes well-behaved children of all ages, however, only a couple of our rooms can accommodate more than two persons (children and infants included). Please note our additional per person charge described in our policies.

Standard check-in at The Bellwether begins anytime after 4:00 PM. To provide you with more flexibility during your stay, we offer the option to add early check-in or late check-out to your reservation at the time of booking. If you find yourself needing a little extra time to settle in or a slower start to your morning, simply select these add-ons while securing your room to ensure your schedule is perfectly accommodated.
